انواع دستگاه های هوشمند مثل تلویزیون های نسل جدید، اندروید تی وی ها و ست تاب باکس ها قابلیت ها و محتواهای جذاب و متنوعی را در دسترس کاربران قرار می دهند. بر همین اساس با افزایش تنوع و گستردگی محتوا، سرچ و جست و جوی محتوای مد نظر بدون کیبورد مشکل می شود. همه این دستگاه های هوشمند یک کیبورد مجازی دارند که می توان آن را با کنترل اصلی مدیریت کرد. با تبدیل گوشی به کنترل می توان به راحتی تجربه ای کاربری جذاب تر و راحت تر را تجربه کرد
Apple TV
اپلی ها به طور معمول برای استفاده از تمام قابلیت های تلویزیون های هوشمند اپل نیز از محصولات همین کمپانی استفاده می کنند. این کاربران جهت تبدیل گوشی به کنترل و همچنین برای تایپ با گوشی هوشمند خود حتما باید از اپل یا آیفون استفاده کنند. اپل تی وی برای این دیوایس ها به طور پیش فرض ارائه می شود. کاربران آیپد ها و آیفون های قدیمی نیط می توانند از این قابلیت ها استفاده کنند.
ناگفته نماند برای تبدیل گوشی به کنترل و استفاده از کیبورد Apple TV حتما باید اپل آیدی ها یکسان باشند و همچنین به یک شبکه وای فای مشترک وصل باشند. جهت اتصال و ادامه مراحل میبایست بلوتوث آیفون را روشن کنید. با انتخاب یک فیلد متنی در تلوزیون اپل در گوشی هوشمند یا تب لت شما یک اعلان نشان داده می شود. بر روی آن کلیک کنید تا با کیبورد گوشی خود در فیلد پیش رو بتوانید تایپ کنید.

انویدیا شیلدی ها جهت کنترل ست تاپ باکس با گوشی هوشمند خود هم می توانند از اپلیکیشن رسمی انویدیا که هم برای اپل موجود است و هم برای سیستم عامل اندروید، استفاده کنند و هم از اپلیکیشن رسمی اندروید تی وی استفاده کنند. طبیعتا اپلیکیشن رسمی انویدیا به علت تخصصی تر بودن مناسب تر خواهد بود.
جهت تبدیل گوشی به کنترل و استفاده از کیبورد لازم است ست تاپ باکس و گوشی هوشمند را به یک شبکه وای فای مشترک وصل کنید. با راه اندازی اپلیکیشن و تثبیت مجوز های ضروری به مرحله جفت شدن دستگاه ها یا Pair a new device وارد می شوید. نام گوشی خود را پیدا کرده و انتخاب کنید حالا کد رمز نمایش داده شده روی تلویزیون را در گوشی وارد کنید. در قسمت پایین و سمت چپ اپلیکیشن انویدیا شیلد می توانید برای مشاهده ریموت منترل روی کلید مثلثی شکل کلیک کنید.
جهت بهره مند ی از کیبورد نیز یا فیلد متنی را در تلویزیون انتخاب کنید و یا از گوشه سمت راست و قسمت بالا در اپلیکیشن آیکن کیبورد را انتخاب کنید.
سایر اندروید تی وی ها
در حال حاضر شرکت های مختلفی ست تاپ باکس های متنوع و با برند های متنوع همچون، سونی، شیائومی، ال جی و… تولید می کنند که برای کنترل آنها از اپلیکیشن های رسمی اندروید تی وی استفاده می شود. برای تبدیل گوشی به کنترل اندریود تی وی مانند موارد بالا گوشی را به همان شبکه ای وصل کنید که تلوزیون به آن وصل است.
وارد اپلیکیشن اندروید تی وی شوید و بعد از گذر از مراحل اولیه ست تاپ باکس یا تلوزيون هوشمند خود را از لیست پیش رو انتخاب کنید. حالا پسوردی روی دستگاه نمایش داده می شود که لازم است آن را در گوشی هوشمند خود وارد کنید. اگر سیستم عامل گوشی شما اندروید است به محض نمایش فیلد متنی در تلوزیون، کیبورد نیز در برنامه نمایش داده می شود، اما برای آی او اس لازم است آیکن کیبورد در سمت راست و بالای اپلیکیشن را انتخاب کنید.
